Arched Gateways Pan-Asian Architecture
Since it's one of the more pan-Asian holidays today, here's one of my favorite bits of more pan-Asian architecture: the arched gateways called torana in ancient India , & which became paifang in China , hongsalmun in Korea , torii in Japan , sao ching cha in Thailand , Kori agung in Bali and etcs. source
